Day 1 or is it 2.

Well it had to be said. After an 8am start for a 1pm flight that left late for Los Angeles then a 2 hour lay over for a 3 hour flight to Seattle and arriving 3 hrs after we left due to the international date line the term sleepless in Seattle took on a new meaning.

At the airport Pre sleep deprivation.

Fortunately we discovered the Rabbit Hole Bar and all was set straight (except the walking).

Day 2 (for argument’s sake).

We breakfasted and taxied to the Seattle Zoo where we  communed with the critters. Seattle Zoo is great it appears quite sympathetic to the needs of the animals and it is easy to spend a day getting in touch with the slightly removed relatives.

tonight’s entertainment consisted of Mama’s Kitchen and waaay too much food. Tomorrow is shopping (got to be happy about that), followed by the Seattle Underground tour. Apparently Seattle is built on top of Old Seattle….we’ll see.
